Serial temporality and expressive video games :
a way to change the social consciousness ?

In this talk, I questioned how the disjonted time induced by a series can allow the player's awareness of social problems such as sexism to gradually grow. A formal analysis of the episodic video game RecovR (The Seed Crew, 2021) led to some preliminary conclusions.
